1. About the service
True Bar Checks is owned and operated by True Software Studio Ltd. (“True”, “we”, “us”). It provides business workspaces for staff training and venue recordkeeping. These draft terms are intended for business customers using the service for their trade or profession. Anyone creating a workspace must be authorised to act for that business.
2. Accounts and access
The business owner is responsible for inviting the correct staff, keeping account details accurate, assigning access appropriately and removing access when it is no longer needed. Personal credentials and staff PINs must remain private. A shared-device login may be used on a venue iPad, but each staff member must identify their own entry using their PIN. Do not leave an owner account signed in on a device shared with staff.
3. Training and licensing responsibilities
The initial course is for England. The customer must check its suitability, explain the actual premises licence and local conditions, supervise staff and complete the recorded manager review. Lessons and assessments do not grant a personal licence, accredited qualification or permission to sell alcohol. We do not promise that completing a course or using a report will, by itself, satisfy a licensing authority or prevent an offence.
The customer remains responsible for accurate training evidence, the competence and supervision of staff, refresher intervals and sales authorisation. Do not make false declarations, complete assessments for someone else or record checks that did not take place.
4. Operational records
Record relevant facts promptly and distinguish the time of an event from the time it was entered. Reports are not monitored as an emergency service. Obtain urgent help first and make any required separate notifications to emergency services, regulators, insurers or other relevant bodies. Push reminders are an aid: connectivity, device settings and third-party delivery can affect whether they arrive.
5. Trials, subscriptions and one-time purchases
A new workspace currently receives a 14-day trial without a payment card. Paid options may include a recurring monthly subscription or a one-time purchase. Before any live sales, the applicable price, taxes, renewal arrangements and exact one-time entitlement must be displayed with the order. The amount shown by Stripe must be reviewed before payment. No payment is taken merely by viewing the plan page.
A monthly subscription renews according to the checkout terms until cancelled through the billing portal. Cancellation timing, refunds, failed-payment handling and any one-time access duration must be confirmed in the published commercial terms before launch. A one-time payment does not promise that hosting will continue forever or include every future product in the True family.
If access expires, the current app permits authorised users to view and export existing evidence but stops new submissions. Any future closure, export window and deletion arrangements must be explained in the customer’s final service agreement and retention information.
6. Customer information
The customer retains its rights in the business information it submits and authorises us to process it as necessary to provide, secure and support the service. The customer must have an appropriate basis for recording information about staff, customers and witnesses, give the required privacy information, and provide lawful instructions for records we process on its behalf. A production data processing agreement must accompany the service where required.
Do not upload copies of identity documents to this app. Record the minimum personal information necessary. Incident or accident information may involve health or alleged-offence data; the customer must establish any additional conditions needed for that processing.
7. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with other workspaces, probe the service for misuse, share credentials outside authorised access or use the service unlawfully. True’s software, branding and course materials are supplied for use within the agreed service. Customer records and third-party rights remain with their respective owners. External apps and verification services have their own terms.
8. Availability, changes and security
We may maintain and improve the service and address security issues. The live service agreement must set out any support commitments, material-change notice, service availability commitments and backup arrangements. The customer should export important evidence regularly and keep its own contingency procedures for outages.
9. Liability and ending the agreement
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Any business liability cap, exclusions, termination rights, notice periods and refund remedies must be settled in the final commercial terms; no unreviewed liability cap is asserted in this preview.
10. Questions and disputes
Contact True Software Studio Ltd. using the support details above. The final terms must specify the governing law and courts once the company’s place of registration and intended customer markets are confirmed. Read our Privacy policy and Cookie policy alongside these terms.
